The 2016 Bantle Symposium theme of “Rethinking the Government-Business Relationship: We Need Each Other More Than Ever” brought together three national leaders that have worked at the intersection of building the marketplace and strengthening relationships between government agencies at the federal, state, and local level and private commercial firms. When government engages and works with private, for-profit firms, nonprofits, and other governments, there are more opportunities for information exchange and coordination, cooperation, and collaboration. Government contracting and public-private partnerships are two of the most frequently used arrangements for aligning the goals of government with the expertise and experience of its private partners. Speakers: Anne Rung, Administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, Executive Office of the President; Stan Soloway, Founder of Celero Strategies and former CEO of the Professional Services Council; and Lloyd Blanchard, Director of Finance and Monitoring Services at IEM.Rethinking the Government-Business Relationship: We Need Each Other More Than Ever - YouTube | |
