Dr. Werner Schleiffer brings more than three decades of experience in international development. This includes leading the work of the Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO), directing the World Food Program offices in Brussels and Geneva, and supporting emergency relief operations in Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Sahelian Africa. Dr. Schleiffer holds degrees in economics from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germany), Nice Sophia Antipolis University (France), and the State University of New York at Albany.
