I wanted to expand on some of the points I made on Twitter, and clarify some of the misunderstandings I've seen. This is by no means comprehensive, but it's a starting point, I hope, for a bigger conversation. As I hope is assumed, I can't claim to speak on anyone else's behalf, but I have arrived at my personal views through a lot of conversations with a wide range of trans people from all over the world.
