November 4, 2010. PARCC Conversations in Conflict Studies. Khalil Shikaki, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (Ramallah). This presentation examined current dynamics in Israeli-Palestinian relations, highlighting elements pushing for a successful peace process and the two-state solution, and elements that pull away from that outcome, pushing instead toward conflict and return to violence. The presentation defines the meaning of success and the cost of failure for Palestinians and Israelis. This event was co-sponsored by Middle Eastern Studies Program of Syracuse University and the Moynihan Institute of the Maxwell School.
