How to Switch Up Your Workout Programs AND LIFT HEAVY. I had a subscriber ask about how to switch their programs. I usually suggest that a person go through a certain split for a period of time, trying many different variations of that workout split, and then to shock the system, I'd suggest training with a lower or higher frequency split for a while. The body seems to respond very well to this and it isn't as if one split is really better than the other as much as each split will hit the body in different ways, shocking it into growth. I also train a little heavier today on benchpress and I take you through the process involved in that so that you can avoid injury and get the most out of your heavy lifting.
